Arboricultural surveys
An arboricultural survey, carried out by a suitably qualified person, gathers a list of specific data about the tree through a process known as VTA or visual tree assessment. The process builds up a picture of the overall tree condition and the risk it may pose on its surrounding environment (people and property).
PLS Group UK have PTI and level 4 arb diploma qualified surveyors able to provide detailed tree reports. We are available to provided VTA surveys for any sized woodland or individual trees. We have carried out large scale ash die back assessments for national highways along with full VTA surveys for network rail including leaf fall assessment and ash die back.
Utility arboricultural surveys
Powerline Surveying Limited forms part of the PLS group and is the original parent company. As you can imagine, our NPTC Utility Arb qualified surveyors have many years of surveying experience gathering tree data effecting the overhead powerline network and its associated assets along with gaining consent from landowners to carry out arboricultural work to keep the network safe and clear of trees and vegetation.
Utility asset condition surveys
We are also available to provide network operators with a full condition survey of overhead assets.
Our surveyors are capable of working with client provided electronic data gathering systems across a variety of platforms but are just as happy working with pen and paper the old fashioned way!
We also have our own survey data capturing system as required.
